Oh Riley, how you’ve stolen my heart over the last year… This little girl came out smiling and hasn’t stopped since. I remember being amazed at how much and how big she smiled at her newborn shoot, and she continues to amaze me today. I know I’ve said it before, but I develop a relationship with each one of my milestone babies. I love to watch them grow into the little people they are by the time they reach their first birthday, and I will miss seeing them regularly. Happy Birthday beautiful girl..

When Landon’s parents found out they were expecting baby #2, they asked me to do their newborn photos, but at 20 weeks, when they found out that he would be born with a cleft lip and palate, they decided that they wanted to document his journey over the first year of his life. I am honored that they asked me to do this, and I was so excited to meet this little guy! He is the most mild mannered baby and the love for him seeps from his family. From every look, touch, pose and comment, it’s quite obvious that this boy is cherished! What a beautiful baby boy he is and I can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for him. Meet Landon, the baby who stole my heart
Now that I’m focusing on newborn and first year milestones, I’m not doing family sessions regularly but have received many requests in recent months. This prompted a day of family mini sessions and I’m thrilled with how they turned out! The only problem with mini sessions is that I always have such a hard time narrowing the cuteness down! Here’s a snapshot from each of the 12 sessions
I’ve had some pretty amazing babies in the studio lately and I have to admit that I LOVE the lighting in my new place. Anna was perfect in every single way, right down to her beautiful, classic name. She slept like a champ and literally went into every pose with ease. Her parents are so nice and I could just feel the love they have for their sweet baby girl permeating the room. Brace yourself!
It’s been a while since I’ve updated on here, so be prepared for a few new posts tonight! In the midst of moving to a new house, miss Madelyn Ro decided to make an early appearance! So between unpacking boxes and getting a bit settled, I was able to fit her in for her newborn session. This beautiful family happens to be my cousin’s beautiful family, and I’m thrilled that she chose me to capture this moment in time for her. I’m am so in love with every one of her photos and here are some of my favorites…
